I’ve been watching the crows lots this past week. All the babies are out feathered and hopping around. I am constantly inspired by them. I see their nests way up in the oak trees, really high up. When these baby crows take their first leap from the nest they must fly, if they don’t gravity would not be kind. They have never done it before but they know how. I think about all the times in my life when I’ve been ready to take a new leap but hesitated, waited, searched to know more, unsure of myself or my abilities. But now I realize that there is a point where we must leap, wondering if we are ready is irrelevant. Waiting for ‘this’ or ‘that’ to happen is like swimming against the current. When we jump then all the tools we require to make the leap will simply unfold. Slow the search, everything you need you already have inside, we have to go no further than ourselves to find it. You can fly.
